Manchester United are set to enter a new era under Ruben Amorim. The young Portuguese tactician has had an excellent track record at Sporting CP and is coming to Old Trafford with the dream of returning the club to the very top of English football.
Since Alex Ferguson left the club more than a decade ago, the Red Devils have not had a period of sustained success.

Despite different managers trying to steady the ship, the results have ranged between mediocre and disappointing.
Amorim is famous for playing a 3-4-3 formation at Sporting and might want to replicate the system at Old Trafford. This system requires a lot of contribution from the wingbacks and his new club might have an issue in this regard.
The right side of defense is sorted with Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui. Both of them are adept at going forward and coming back, and they don’t need to worry about that. However, the left wing-back is an area of concern.
Both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia have failed to stay fit for a significant time now and Amorim might be forced to look at a new player. As per Football Insider, Manchester United are willing to sign impressive Hungarian left-back, Milos Kerkez.
Former United and Blackburn Rovers chief scout Mick Brown has tipped the £40million star to generate interest from top clubs, considering his form. He said:
“He’s (Kerkez) been important to the way Bournemouth have played and has been really impressive. So it doesn’t come as any surprise that some of the top clubs are having a look at him.”
The 21-year-old fullback has been one of the protagonists of Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth project. Last weekend, in their impressive and unlikely victory over Manchester City, the Hungarian provided two assists in a 2-1 win for his side.
Should Manchester United sign Kerkez, he would be an excellent addition to the current squad. He would perfectly suit the left wing-back role and let’s wait and see how it plays out.
