BBC Sport pundit Mark Lawrenson has predicted Manchester United to replicate the scoreline from the opening week when they take on Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
United got the season off on a positive note as they beat Leicester City by a 2-1 scoreline and the victory has helped shed some of the disappointment caused by an average transfer window.
With another gameweek beckoning, Lawrenson has given his weekly predictions on BBC Sport and the 61-year-old sees United winning with a similar score from the curtain raiser.
United started the season opener against Leicester City at a relatively good pace but there was certainly a drop in performance levels as the game went on with the fitness of players coming into question.
Nonetheless, there were plenty of positives with World Cup-based players including Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku participating during the game – with the former standing out with a man of the match showing.
For the Brighton trip, Mourinho has hinted that the squad should remain unchanged but there should be a change in personnel in the centre-forward position with Lukaku very much certain to replace Marcus Rashford.
Rashford took time with his decision-making during the season opener against the Foxes and it will be interesting to see whether the youngster gets the nod ahead of Juan Mata on the right wing.
