Arsenal and Manchester are fighting to hire the services of Argentine international and Ajax star, Lisandro Martinez, and the latest reports are interesting.
According to The Mirror (press image provided below), the South American center half is keen on moving to the Premier League and the Red Devils and the Gunners are battling to get his signing done.

As per The Mail, Man United are leading the north London club to secure the signing of the La Albiceleste defender, who is willing to move to Old Trafford and the Emirates.
Thus far, Arsenal have offered around £40million (The Mirror), on the other hand, the Old Trafford outfit have submitted a bid of £35million (Hernan Sisto).
In the last Premier League campaign, Man Utd conceded 57 goals and kept just 8 clean sheets. On the other hand, Arteta’s men conceded 48 goals and kept 13 clean sheets.
Both teams need to adequately reinforce the backline in order to get back into the Champions League.
The question is, who will meet the asking price of over £45million to finally sign Lisandro Martinez?
