Manchester United started their Premier League campaign off to a disappointing defeat at the hands of Swansea City at Old Trafford. It was meant to be so different, Louis van Gaal was to come in and get Manchester United back to winning ways, especially at Old Trafford and after a unbeaten pre-season, all was looking good going into the early kick-off on Saturday.
Take nothing away from Swansea City, the Welsh outfit played well, but this was more than a bad performance by Manchester United. Even resorting to lumping the ball up to Marouane Fellaini during the second half as they looked to find an equaliser, very much back to David Moyes handbook of football.
