
According to reports from the Metro, Jose Mourinho wants to follow up the signing of Nemanja Matic by acquiring a winger.
Following a seemingly endless protracted negotiations, Manchester United are now finally on the verge of securing the services of Nemanja Matic and the 28-year-old is expected to complete his £40million move to Old Trafford within the next few days.
The arrival of Matic will most certainly strengthen the Manchester United midfield and fans of the club are now certainly excited ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign as the Red Devils are in a very strong position in terms of strength in depth to challenge for the title.
The signing of Matic means that manager Jose Mourinho would have spent well over £150million on new players and such an amount is certainly very high by anyone’s standards.
However, Mourinho is not done with his business in the transfer market as of yet and according to reports from the Metro, the Portuguese boss has now demanded the United board to help him get a new winger to the club.
The Premier League giants have long been linked with a move for Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic and with Mourinho intent on bringing in a new wide player to the club, United’s spending this window could well exceed £200million soon.
