According to reports carried out by the Metro, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will be financially backed by the club board to sign the trio of Antoine Griezmann, Gareth Bale and Ivan Perisic.

Manchester United have made a decent start to their Premier League campaign but with rivals Manchester City in rampant form, the Red Devils surely will need to strengthen their squad in order to close the gap at the top of the table.

Now according to reports, the United hierarchy will allow manager Jose Mourinho to sign three superstars in the upcoming transfer windows in order to compete with City’s squad and also in part to keep the Portuguese boss away from the clutches of French giants PSG.

Claims have been made that the three big name players Mourinho would like to bring to Old Trafford are Antoine Griezmann, Gareth Bale and Ivan Perisic, and it will be interesting to see if United are able to lure any of the three aforementioned players to the club.

In addition, United are now ready to also activate a clause in Mourinho’s contract that adds an extra year to his deal at Old Trafford and this would mean that PSG need to pay double the compensation if they do indeed land the 54-year-old’s services.
