Mourinho privately confident that Manchester United will complete £100million transfer

As reported by the Daily Mirror, Jose Mourinho is believed to be confident of landing the services of Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale this summer.

It is almost customary to see Gareth Bale being linked with a move to Manchester United in recent transfer windows and naturally, the Welshman has been touted to join the Red Devils during the current summer as well.

This time around though, Bale moving to United has been seen as a realistic possibility as Real Madrid are currently pursuing the services of wonderkid Kylian Mbappe and the Los Blancos will allegedly look to offload the ex-Tottenham star if they are able to sign the French international.

United boss Jose Mourinho recently admitted defeat in his hopes of signing Bale following his side’s 2-1 loss against Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup final but rumors have emerged recently claiming that he has demanded the club hierarchy to strike a deal for the attacker.

In an update to the story, the Daily Mirror have gone on to reveal that Mourinho is currently confident of signing Bale following talks with the United board and there is now a strong possibility that the Premier League giants will sign the 28-year-old this summer for a whopping £100million.
