According to reports from The Sun, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has urged the club hierarchy to make a whopping £100million swoop for Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale.

It is no secret whatsoever that Manchester United are keen admirers of Gareth Bale and have attempted to acquire the services of the Welsh wizard on numerous occasions over the past few seasons.

Despite the many attempts though, United have been unable to sign Bale so far but there has been widespread reports that the Southampton youth product could finally be moving to Old Trafford this summer as Real Madrid could be open to selling the 28-year-old if they sign Monaco wonderkid Kylian Mbappe.

United boss Jose Mourinho recently did concede that signing Bale would be impossible after the attacker made an appearance for Madrid during their 2-1 UEFA Super Cup victory over Manchester United in Macedonia but reports emerging out of England have now claimed that the Portuguese tactician is still hopeful of landing the ex-Tottenham Hotspur star.

Mourinho has urged the United hierarchy to do all they can in order to sign Bale and allegedly wants the club to offer as much as £100million to tempt Madrid to part with the Welsh international. The Special One is also prepared to offer a club-record package of £500,000 a week in order to convince Bale into the move.
