Jose wants £40million plus Willian in deal for 22-year-old star

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will reportedly agree a deal with Chelsea for Anthony Martial, so long as the Blues pay £40m up front and include Willian as part of the swap deal. Martial has struggled for playing time this season and could be allowed to leave for the right price.

According to the Mirror, Mourinho is open to selling Martial this summer, with the 22-year-old being linked with Chelsea and Juventus, but he wants a player in return. The Portuguese coach managed Willian in his second stink at Stamford Bridge and wants a reunion ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

Willian has been in fine form under Antonio Conte this season, scoring and creating 25 goals in 52 games in all competitions, but Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich could sanction the Brazilian’s sale if the deal benefits the Blues.

Signed by Chelsea in 2013, the 29-year-old has made 233 appearances across the board, contributing 83 goals, and has won two Premier League titles and one League Cup. But his time at Stamford Bridge could be coming to an end as Chelsea look desperate to sign Martial.

The 22-year-old forward has an uncertain future at United as he’s only made 18 Premier League starts this season. He’s made over 130 appearances in all competitions since joining from AS Monaco in 2015 but finds himself behind Alexis Sanchez in the pecking order which could see him consider an exit.

The Mirror say if Chelsea stump up £40m plus Willian, United could agree to sell Martial.
