Manchester United signed Jadon Sancho in an expensive deal back in 2021 but now, they want to get rid of the England international and replace him with Raphinha.
As per a report covered by Sport yesterday (news image provided below), Man Utd have offered Barcelona the chance to sign Sancho in an exchange deal with Raphinha.
The Three Lions winger has not been able to perform at the top level at Old Trafford that he did in Germany with Dortmund.
On the other hand, after a breakdown in relationship with manager, Erik ten Hag, he has been out of the squad since August.
Sport claim Barcelona are looking for a fee worth $100million i.e. around £79million for the Brazilian international but that sum is mainly demanded from the rich clubs of Saudi Arabia.
Raphinha has mainly been a bench warmer this season and has only started six games in the Spanish La Liga under Xavi Hernandez. Therefore, the above mentioned asking fee is not realistic.
Last month, Football Insider revealed that Barca could allow the South American attacker to leave for around £50million.
In all competitions this term, so far, the former Leeds United star has started 9 games, scored 2 goals and also provided 6 assists.
Raphinha proved his worth in the Premier League with the Elland Road outfit. In your view, should Man Utd swap Jadon Sancho with the £50million-rated Samba star?
