Another day, another story on Leny Yoro, who is heavily linked with Man Utd and other top clubs in the continent.
Two days back, we covered a report via Marca stating that the Red Devils have made the biggest offer to the player to convince him to move to Old Trafford.
Transfer: Deal close – Man Utd near sealing signing of £65million star
More recently, another Spanish source has revealed that Man Utd have tabled an offer that is very close to the terms accepted by Lille for the transfer of Yoro.
According to AS, the Old Trafford outfit and Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain, have already made moves for the teenage central defender.
Man Utd are reportedly ‘very serious’ and have even submitted a bid that is ‘very close’ to the asking price of 60 million euros set by the French club.
Real Madrid are hot in the race, they want to hire the 18-year-old but have no plans of ‘going all out’ for a player, who will be free in just over an year.
Therefore, the Spanish and the European champions have decided they will not spend more than 40 million euros to sign Yoro.
The Los Blancos know Lille can receive bigger amounts from abroad and hence, they want Yoro to be patient and reject advances from other suitors.
In such a situation, the Les Dogues, who would not want to lose their prized asset for nothing, could be forced to accept a lower fee.
History has shown that Real Madrid are not only hard to beat on the field but also in the transfer market. Will Man Utd be able to win the race to sign Leny Yoro? Only time will tell.
