Andreas Pereira has admitted that he has spoken with Paul Pogba about moving to Juventus.
The Brazilian youngster’s contract is up this summer and whilst PSV harbour hopes of bringing him back to Holland, Juventus have again emerged as challengers for his signature, reminiscent of their signing of Paul Pogba 3 years ago.
Pereira featured in United’s embarrassing 4-0 defeat to the MK Dons earlier in the season and hasn’t turned out for Van Gaal’s side since.
With a lack of first team football reportedly a source of contention for the 19 year old, Juventus could again prise away a United youngster as he is quoted in by Tuttosport as saying:
“Everyone knows that Juve are a great club.
“I’ve spoken with Pogba many times, he’s a good friend and he told me I’d be well-served in moving to Turin, both personally and professionally, two important things for me.
“My agent is evaluating the offers we’ve received, including the Bianconeri, it’s not a secret.”
United would loathe to lose the talented youngster in the same manner that they lost Pogba and would carry on a somewhat alarming trend of talented youngsters moving on before cracking the first team with Mats Moller Daehli also tipped for big things before departing.
