The famous German news outlet have mentioned that the Bavarians were keen on signing Kyle Walker to replace the Les Bleus star.
Now that the England international is set to stay with Manchester City, the Bundesliga champions have changed their stance and told Pavard he is not up for sale.
However, the Allianz Arena outfit would still be willing to accept a figure of 50 million euros (£42.9m), which is a huge amount for a 27-year-old, whose contract will expire next year (Bild).
The 2018 World Cup winning star is now forcing Bayern to accept a deal with the Red Devils.
After United’s opening Premier League fixture against Wolves, Pavard liked posts of his compatriot, Raphael Varane and then went on to like posts from official Manchester United account on Instagram
Thus far, Man Utd have not been able to complete the sale of Harry Maguire despite a deal agreed with West Ham. The England international has not made his decision as yet.
