One of the best things about Manchester United signing Ander Herrera is the friendship he has struck up with Juan Mata.
The two appear inseparable constantly featuring on each other’s social media and even better their on field relationship has seen United flying in the later part of the season. The two claim they know what each other are going to do before the other does it, but there was a time when the two weren’t on the same page.
This picture from 2009 when the two were back in Spain shows Mata whilst still at Valencia being challenged by Herrera who was still a Real Zaragoza player at the time.
Clearly their clashes in La Liga had no bearing on their friendship off field as the two remain good friends!

Steve has been lucky enough to be at both the 1999 and 2008 Champions League finals, seeing Manchester United lift the biggest trophy in the World, none more exciting than that faithful night in Barcelona in 99.
