Manchester United are set for an injury boost this coming week after the International break, with Marouane Fellaini back in fitness and rehabilitation training at Carrington.
Fellaini was thought to be leaving Manchester United in the summer, with Napoli interested in taking the United misfit to Italy. But it was reported that an ankle injury which had seen Fellaini in a protective boot had scuppered the deal towards the end of the summer window.
So far at Manchester United, Fellaini has failed to impress since his £27.5 million move from Everton last summer. Now, with the addition of a number of new players at United, his game time under Louis van Gaal has been considerably slashed.
But, it seems that Fellaini is determined to get back into the swing of things at Carrington and fight for his place. The following picture, in which he tweeted over the weekend, see’s him in fitness training without the protective boot. No doubt he will be at Carrington from this morning continuing his rehabilitation and hopefully move on to you ball work during the week.
