PICTURE: United welcome back former toffee ahead of this weekends clash

So far this season, all injury updates from Manchester United have been that of disappointment. But for some United fans, they are hopeful that Marouane Fellaini will come good now that he is back training with the first-team.

Fellaini has been training with Manchester United’s first-team under the watchful eyes of Louis van Gaal following a spell on the sidelines with an injury.

The Belgium international was linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with Lazio more than interested in taking the midfielder, but, if there was a deal in place the an ankle ligament injury had put pay to that, keeping him out for five-weeks.

As pictured above, Fellaini has stepped up his return to the fold for manager Louis van Gaal and is now ready for selection, maybe even contesting a bench spot for this weekends fixture against his former club Everton.
