[Picture] Van Gaal Wants A ‘Galatico’ & THIS Is The Only One Available

Louis Van Gaal’s latest statement claiming that United need s ‘Galatico’ has had the usual names being bandied about as potential targets for the Reds this Summer. The Dutchman ruled out Cristiano Ronaldo- although this hasn’t stopped many newspapers suggesting him anyway, while only yesterday Wales boss Chris Coleman noted he fully expected Gareth Bale to stay at Real Madrid this season. There’s absolutely zero chance of Sergio Aguero, Eden Hazard or any of Barcelona’s free scoring trinity joining the Reds so that means perhaps the ‘Galatico’ Van Gaal seeks is someone who so far has slipped under the media radar.

Antione Griezmann may not be the first name on most fans lips when it comes to potential United signings but the Reds could bag their very own superstar in the making if they took a gamble on the French forward. Griezman managed an impressive 22 La Liga goals last season for an Atletico Madrid side that didn’t enjoy the same amount of dominance that Barcelona or Real Madrid did. Diego Simeone’s side may have finished third, but it was a distant third with them 14 points adrift from the top two.

Atletico forked out £24 million for Greizmann only a season ago and signed him to a six year deal, so it’s unlikely that he’d leave the Spanish outfit for less than double that, but in a world where even ten top flight goals can make you a target for teams with title ambitions, spending over £40 million on a 24 year old who’s managed 45 goals in his last two seasons isn’t that much of a risk, compared to say, spending around £60 million for a winger who’s been made to look good in a team full of stars…

Griezmann could be the one player available that has the ability to be United’s very own match winning superstar, now is the time to act before someone else does.

  1. Wow i hadnt griezman in my mind. But would fit absolutely amazing in that new manutd squad as a right winger.

Then buy oblak and ramos/stones and sell mata, young, rojos.
