Potential transfer causing tensions between Manchester United and European giants

Anthony Martial Manchester United

According to reports from Calcio Mercato, Inter Milan’s interest in Anthony Martial has caused a rift with Manchester United.

Manchester United’s interest in signing Ivan Perisic this summer has been well documented but despite protracted negotiations, the Red Devils have not been able to sign the Croatian international as Inter Milan are said to be demanding around £48million for the attacker.

With the start of the 2017/18 Premier League campaign fast approaching, United may get a bit desperate and there has been speculation that the Red Devils could just agree to pay the asking price that Inter have put up on Perisic.

In addition to demanding £48million for Perisic though, Inter also want to sign Anthony Martial on a season long loan as part of the deal but United do not want to allow the youngster to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Now Italian outlet Calcio Mercato have gone on to claim that Martial is keen on joining Inter as he looks to earn regular first team football during the upcoming season in order to boost his World Cup chances with France and as a result, the interest from Inter has angered United.

It is now believed that Inter and United have a lot of tension between them and the transfer of either Perisic or Martial taking place between the two clubs remains in question at the moment.
