Manchester United are once again linked with Scottish international and Aston Villa star John McGinn.
Back in 2019, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted to lure the central midfielder to Old Trafford (The Sun). Now, Ralf Rangnick is eager to secure his signing.
Transfer: Man United ready to submit bid to sign £59.7million star – Report
The Sun have revealed that Man Utd are keen on signing the 27-year-old star in order to replace Paul Pogba at the club. The French international, who is the record signing, will be out of contract in the summer.
McGinn’s current deal with the Villa Park outfit will expire in 2025 and the British news source have claimed that he could cost even more than £50million.
Rangnick likes pressing style of football and for the job, he does lack the quality players in the center of the park. In such a scenario, McGinn, who has been a pressing machine for the Birmingham based side, could be a top addition.
The 42-capped international has so far netted 3 goals and provided 2 assists in 14 league starts and he has been highly impressive under new boss, Steven Gerrard.
In your opinion, who should Ranginck sign to improve the midfield at Man Utd? Should the German manager splash over £50million to sign John McGinn?
