Rashford Sancho

Manchester United star, Marcus Rashford, is wanted by Barca and Borussia Dortmund and it will not come as any surprise to see him leave, at least on loan, in the current transfer window.

According to Sport, the England international has agreed to sign for the Catalan club, who are ready to pay his wages to loan him out of Old Trafford.

Rashford currently earns 18 million euros a year, £292,000 a week, at Man Utd and Barca are prepared to the pay the salary of the second half of the season to hire him.

However, they must reach an agreement with the Red Devils and also carry out an ‘exit operation’ to make space for the Three Lions attacker.

As per today’s edition of the Catalan source, Barca are pressing to get the Rashford deal done because they face competition from Borussia Dortmund, who may end up hiring former Man Utd manager, Erik ten Hag.

German outlet, Bild, have also talked about a possible loan move to BvB for Rashford and state that his market value is at around 55 million euros (£46.4million).

Time for Man Utd to get rid of Marcus Rashford

Rashford has not played a single minute in the Premier League since the defeat against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford in the first week of December 2024,.

Ruben Amorim has taken over the squad left by Erik ten Hag and after the defeat against the Seagulls, the Portuguese manager said that this might be the worst side in the history of the club.

So, he is basically suggesting that the former boss has wasted millions in the transfer market and did not improve the team.

Amorim needs time and money to build the squad suited to his style of play and if Rashford is not in his plans, which seems evident, then it is time to get rid of him. What do you think?
