Manchester United may have two games in hand but the title seems virtually impossible to achieve because Manchester City have a 17 point lead.
The Red Devils are just a point above Leicester and should look to strengthen their second position by earning all three points vs West Ham tonight.
Transfer: Man United moving, can offer £26million to sign star – Face competition
As far as the team news is concerned, Marcus Rashford is in contention to return to the squad and if he is fit, he must get the nod to start. Without him, Man Utd would not have their strongest possible line up. They failed to beat AC Milan at home in the midweek Europa League contest and badly missed the England international.
The Three Lions star could return to start on the left flank. The likes of Cavani and Martial are out injured, so it will not come as any surprise to see Greenwood start as the main center forward up front.
Bruno Fernandes should start behind the young English starlet in the No. 10 role. On the other hand, Daniel James should start on the right flank.
In the center of the park, once again, we can expect the likes of Fred and McTominay to feature and Matic may warm the bench.
As far as the defense is concerned, Wan-Bissaka and Shaw must start in the fullback positions and Maguire and Lindelof could start in the central defense. In the goal, De Gea may miss the game after quarantine (The Guardian) and Henderson would likely start again.
Man Utd’s strongest possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs West Ham: Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; Fred, McTominay; James, Fernandes, Rashford; Greenwood
