As reported by Goal, Real Madrid’s pursuit of Monaco wonderkid Kylian Mbappe will help Manchester United complete the signing of Gareth Bale.
The headlines were dominated recently by the news that Real Madrid are looking to ramp up their bid to secure the services of Monaco superstar Kylian Mbappe this summer.
It has been claimed that Madrid are very keen on signing Mbappe and that the Spanish giants will be looking to splash a whopping £160million in order to lure the wonderkid away from Monaco.
Even for a club as big as Madrid, funding such a huge move could prove to be a financial obstacle though and claims are being made that the defending La Liga and European Champions will have to sell first before buying Mbappe.
Madrid have already raised a substantial amount by selling the duo of Alvaro Morata and Danilo but if reports from Goal are to be believed, they will now look to offload Gareth Bale to fund a move for Mbappe.
It is no secret that Manchester United are keen admirers of Bale and manager Jose Mourinho is believed to be open to signing the Welsh wizard if he is made available.
Now if the reports from Goal are true, United stand a wonderful opportunity to sign Bale and, how the story surrounding the ex-Tottenham star as well as Mbappe develops will be interesting to follow in the coming weeks.
