According to an exclusive report covered by The Sun, £290,000-a-week (£15million-a-year) star, Paul Pogba, is ‘ready’ to agree a fresh deal with Manchester United. Not so long ago, he wanted to leave the club but he is prepared to make a stunning U-turn.
The Red Devils broke their transfer record to re-sign Pogba from Juventus back in 2016. However, under the management of Mourinho, the French international was highly inconsistent and definitely not happy.
In the last few games under the Portuguese boss, Pogba mainly started on the bench and that surely frustrated him.
Transfer: Deal close – Club ready to secure signing of 29-year-old Man Utd player
Fortunately, things have changed for the Les Bleus midfielder since the appointment of interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
So far, under the Norwegian boss, United have won every game, hence, the entire squad is delighted and Pogba has got to be the happiest as he has been the team’s best player.
In 6 league appearances under the club legend, the 25-year-old World Cup winning midfielder has directly contributed in no fewer than 9 goals (5 goals and 4 assists).
Without a shadow of a doubt, Pogba is one of the best midfielders in the world, he is in his peak years and keeping him at the club for the long term would be massive for Manchester United.
