Report – Midfielder now ‘one step away’ from joining Manchester United

Manchester United are consistently pushing to sign Sofyan Amrabat in the summer transfer window and reports coming from Italy are intriguing.

A couple of hours back, we covered a story via Corriere dello Sport stating that United are forced to agree a fee worth 30 million euros to lure the midfielder today.

Another report covered by Corriere Fiorentino (news image provided below) now indicates the 27-year-old play breaker is ‘one step away from United’.

The news source have mentioned that for the Viola, today will be all about sorting the transfers, both incoming and outgoing.

The agenda ‘above all’ is the sale of Sofyan Amrabat. It is stated that the player is one step away from joining Manchester United.

Over at La Gazzetta Dello Sport, it is reported the battle to lure the Moroccan international is between United and Fulham.

The Milan based media outlet claim the deal should be closed this evening and the Cottagers have already put 30 million euros on the table for Fiorentina.

Amrabat wants to reunite with Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford but for his wish to come true, Man Utd must act fast and agree a deal with the Italian side.

The Red Devils will face a tough away game against Arsenal at the weekend and would be in a much better shape if they have the Atlas Lions star available for the contest.
