Manchester United are consistently linked with Denzel Dumfries and the latest update indicates that they are clear to finally sign him.
Yesterday, we covered a story stating the Old Trafford club will have no problem in meeting the salary demands of the player, who is also wanted by Bayern.

Now, the German champions are out of the race leaving Man Utd, who have been after the Dutchman for some time, free to get the signing done.
As per today’s version of Corriere dello Sport (news image provided below), Dumfries is expected to start his fourth game in a row on the bench tomorrow and his future at Inter Milan is up in the air.
Apart from being a bench warmer, the Netherlands international is also in a contract stand-off against the Nerazzurri, who are not willing to meet his wage demand of 5 million euros a year.
Therefore, CdS claim that Dumfries is heading towards a ‘farewell’ and a move away from Inter Milan is ‘most likely’.
The Rome based media outlet state Man Utd have been ‘interested for some time’ and are still looking to sign him.
Bayern Munich also knocked on the door but then decided to move for French defender, Sacha Boey, from Galatasaray, to reinforce the right back position.
It is reported that Inter want Dumfries to regain form so they can get a considerable fee from his sale. A few months ago, CdS revealed a valuation of 50 million euros (£43million).
Have your say – Is Dumfries good enough to reinforce the Man Utd backline?
