The news source have revealed that Manchester United are in advanced talks to seal the signing of the young fullback, who turned sixteen earlier this month.

It is reported Amass has been on the radar of multiple clubs and he will be welcomed at Old Trafford by the 20-time English champions.

The teenager mainly plays in the left back role and in that position, we already have ample quality and depth.

In the first team, England international, Luke Shaw has been our first choice left back under the management of Erik ten Hag and he has been impressive.

On the other hand, last year, the Dutch manager splashed the cash to sign compatriot, Tyrell Malacia, to further improve the LB position.

22-year-old, Brandon Williams, is the third choice left back and reports indicate that Man Utd are willing to accept loan offers for the youngster (Football Insider).

For now, the Premier League giants do not need a new left back to reinforce the first team but the club must focus on improving the academy. The arrival of Harry Amass would do just that.

The teenager wants to leave the Hornets to step up in his career by training in a top academy such as Carrington.
