Turkey was a team that caught the eye of one and all during the European Championship in Germany back in the summer.
The talented young side put in a number of impressive displays and since the tournament, their players have gotten high-profile moves.

One player who looked very promising when playing for Turkey was Kerem Akturkoglu. He has since moved to Benfica where the Turkish forward has started the season in excellent form, netting two goals and providing two assists in three games.
Prior to his transfer, the 25-year-old played three games for Galatasaray, again scoring two goals and providing two assists. Now, as per Spanish source, Fichajes, Man Utd are preparing a £33.6 million offer to sign the in-form Akturkoglu
As per the report, despite the attacker just making a move in the summer, he could already be on his way out. Such has been his performances that he has prompted interest from top clubs like Manchester United.
Akturkoglu has shown that he is ready to compete at the biggest stage, netting in both of Benfica’s Champions League games so far against Red Star and more famously Atletico Madrid. There is clearly no dearth of talent here.
The versatile forward would be an incredible addition to the Red Devils roster but any player looking at the current state of the club would think twice about coming to Old Trafford, especially until Erik ten Hag is in charge.
The Dutch coach looks clueless about what he is doing at Manchester United and there are serious concerns about whether he can turn this slump around. Even his new signings have not yet started delivering consistently.
