Manchester United secured their first victory under Ruben Amorim against Bodo Glimt in the UEFA Europa League. It was a decent performance from the Red Devils who will be looking to build on the same in the coming months.
The Red Devils are adapting to a new formation under the Portuguese tactician. They are setting up in a 3-4-3 formation that Amorim used extensively during his time at Sporting CP and it looks like he wants to do the same in Old Trafford.

Down the line, Amorim will understandably need to bring in players who are tailor-made for the system. Now, as per journalist Florian Plettenberg, Man Utd want to sign Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface.
The African striker shot to the limelight with his performances for Bayer Leverkusen in their Bundesliga-winning campaign last season.
However, this campaign, injuries have prevented him from having the same kind of influence.
Boniface is valued at around £67million. Manchester United will have to pay a decent amount to secure his signature. It is not going to be that straightforward, as the club need to identify places they need to spend on.
One advantage of signing the 23-year-old striker is that he would already be very familiar with the system. Xabi Alonso sets his team up in a similar manner to Ruben Amorim and the adaptation might not be difficult.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for the Bayer Leverkusen striker. The issue for Man Utd is that they already have two young forwards and bringing in Victor Boniface could mean sacrifices. Let’s wait and see how things play out for the African striker going forward.
