Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Manchester United are consistently linked with central defenders and the latest name in the lime light is that of Fikayo Tomori.

According to Milan Web, Man Utd are pushing hard to sign the England international from AC Milan to reinforce their backline.

The news source have mentioned that the Red Devils’ press could become increasingly stronger for the 25-year-old center back.

It is stated that the Rossoneri will demand a fee of at least £34million (40 million euros) to offload their prized asset but they do not want to lose him in the middle of the campaign.

Man Utd can convince the player with a large salary but the move would likely happen in the summer transfer window.

In all fairness, United have been miserable at the back and need to splash the cash to strengthen the defense next month in the winter transfer window.

Tomori was a key member of the Milan side that won the Scudetto in the 2021-22 campaign. This season, so far, he has made 14 appearances in the Serie A, scored 2 goals and helped the team keep 5 clean sheets.

The former Chelsea central defender made his debut of the Three Lions back in 2019 and thus far, he has earned 5 caps.

Man Utd are already out of the League Cup and the Champions League and have a minus GD in the Premier League.

Erik ten Hag must spend money to strengthen the backline at Old Trafford in January. Should Man Utd offer £34million to sign Fikayo Tomori?
