Manchester United are fighting rivals to secure the signing of Leny Yoro, but the player may end up moving to Real Madrid.

As per today’s version of Marca, Man Utd are putting ‘pressure’ to hire the services of Yoro, who is also wanted by Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool.

Lille value the youngster at close to 60 million euros (£50m+) and Ligue 1 champions, PSG, have even offered a sum close to the asking price.

However, Yoro has given a negative response to the French giants and is waiting to seal a move to the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid captain, Nacho, has agreed a two year deal with Al Qadsiah and will receive a salary 10 million euros a season.

The Saudi Club has recently been promoted to the Pro League and is managed by former Los Blancos star, Michel.

The European champions are now pushing to land Yoro to replace Nacho but they are not prepared to meet the £50m+ fee demanded to sign him from Lille.

Madrid initially wanted to wait for 30th June but now, due to ‘pressure’ from United and other suitors, they are being forced to start the negotiations soon in order to win the race.

As per Dharmesh Sheth, Man Utd have initiated their move by contacting Yoro and are also working on other options to reinforce the backline at Old Trafford.

In all fairness, United have a major disadvantage in this race as they are the only interested club that will not be able to offer Champions League football to the defender next season.
