So, the Italian giants need to improve the squad to have any chance of retaining their crown. Reports indicate that they are looking to sign Anthony Martial from Manchester United.

According to an exclusive story covered by The Sun, Inter have targeted the French international and Man Utd are ready to agree his departure in a deal worth £50million.

The British source have mentioned that the San Siro outfit will immediately push to lure the former Monaco man once they have offloaded Lukaku to Chelsea.

Martial’s current contract at Old Trafford will expire in 2023 and he earns a salary of £200,000 a week (The Sun). In the last campaign, the 25-year-old spent a lot of time on the treatment table, started just 17 games in the Premier League and managed to score only 4 goals.

The Les Bleus star has mainly played as a center forward under Solskjaer even though he is not an out and out striker. We have a world class player in the form of Edinson Cavani to play in the No.9 role. Greenwood/Rashford can cover for the Uruguayan international.

After securing the likes of Sancho and Varane, Man Utd should offload players who are not really needed and I think it is time for Anthony Martial to leave. What do you think?

  1. Is going to be a great idea letting go of Martial. He’s not the kind of striker man united needs. He’s body language and facial expression sometimes doesn’t tell well of him. He should be sold.

  2. What a stupid decision, to allow one of our very few actual centre forwards to leave to a club that already apparently still owes us for the player he is to replace. Who is running our club

  3. About time. I’m not sure what fans see in him
Body language awful and not required
I’m not sure who would want him at £50 mill
