Manchester United are not only linked with numerous top quality players in the media but a few young starlets are in the lime light as well.
According to an exclusive report covered by The Sun, Man Utd are ready to raid Sunderland to sign 15-year-old Logan Pye.
The British outlet have mentioned that the teenage midfield star is highly rated but the Red Devils might be able to secure his services for a fee of just £500,000 plus extras.

Pye plays for England’s U-16 side. In the current campaign, he has featured in 3 games for Sunderland in the U-18 Premier League and scored one goal.
Goes without saying, he is not someone who would get straight into United’s starting XI if Solskjaer opts to lure him. Still, he could be a huge star in future.
As far as United’s current midfield is concerned, Serbian international, Nemanja Matic, is past his best and in my opinion, he must be sold. In his place, a solid defensive midfielder must be bought in the summer transfer window.
On the other hand, we do need to sign another creative midfielder as well. Brazilian international, Fred, has not lived up to his price tag as yet and Spanish star, Ander Herrera, has also been inconsistent.
Most importantly, the Old Trafford club must do whatever it takes to keep record signing Paul Pogba at the club. In your view, who should United sign to strengthen their midfield department in the summer?
For a Central Midfielder, we need Adrien Rabiot and for an Attacking Midfielder, we need Douglas Costa. With those two and Pogba, I’m sure Rashy and Martial could still hold on the forward line while we let off Lukaku and Sanchez. In our defense, we need Koulibally badly. He and Lindelof would be a very great pair of centre backs. And I guess they’ll inspire David De Gea to do much better than he is now.

As a united fan I am like the rest disgusted with the lack of determination, running and efforts by the overpaid united players. Poor passing, over hitting passes to the forwards and poor balls played for the forwards to run on to go past opposing defences all season. This is the worst united team in years I have seen for a long time. United should get rid of poor performing players in defence, midfield and attack and replace them with quality players with grit and determination who wants to play for united and not those who demand big money to play for united as often these are the worst type of players.
There is no clear understanding between the players, it looks like players are playing for themselves and not for the club. If you can analyse the movements of players during the match, the ownership attitude that we as a club should win, is missing. Any other team you see if it is defending then there are 7 players in the box to defend, it if it is towards the opposition’s goal it is a minimum of 3 players to support. In the case of man utd it is just the opposite, the defensive players are let to defend for themselves. There is another factor (ie) attitude, without playing you expect the club to go into the euro championships. Matured players should have the guts to face the problems rather running away to different clubs.
I think Koulibally will strengthen our defence because if you check with some silly goals that our current defence allows to pass through them.l wonder.
I disagree about keeping Pogba. He is still an immature child. Yes, he has skill but cannot channel it more than one game in every five. Does not warrant the massive salary he commands. Very inconsistent. I would prefer a more reliable midfielder and there are several that fit the bill. He is not a Man U player; he is a self-obsessed youth.

Yes I share all your views regarding the bad performance of man u as a team. The team lacks determination, motivation, aggressiveness and commitment and many players are not playing together well as a team but rather as individuals. Too many bad apples in the team. Sure united needs a good centrehalf to partner Lindelof. Koulibally is a good but very expensive centrehalf to buy. Surely there are many top alternative centrehalfs that can be bought from top clubs in Europe that can do the job to replace the mistake prone centrehalfs united have in Jones and Smalling. It will free up Pogba to focus on the attack rather than to fall back to help out with the defence all the time. Yes United need a good right winger to supply the right balls to the strikers.

Sergio Romero needs to be given chance to prove himself also, because De Gea is very arrogant, his heart is in Real Madrid now, they should just let him go
To my point of view smalling, young matic Jones those four players are not any way qualified to be in United shirt .They should sell them off and look for capable replacement. I don’t no what is wrong the club management. What are they doing seeing young ,smalling ,matic & Jones in utd starting eleven next season in fact it will be a disaster
