Manchester United are in search of a striker for next season and reports suggest that they want to sign Italian international Andrea Belotti.

According to Tutto Sport, the Torino striker is chased by top European clubs and one of them is Man Utd.

Transfer: Report – Man Utd prepared to agree £49million terms with Old Trafford star

The famous Italian outlet have reported that in the Premier League, the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in securing his signature.

Moreover, it is stated that in the Serie A, Fiorentina, Roma, Napoli, Inter and above all, AC Milan want to hire the services of the Azzurri center forward as well.

So, Man Utd face tough competition to lure the 27-year-old striker, who has been the only shining light for Torino in the current campaign. They are level on points with 18th placed Benevento and need to step up tp avoid regelation.

Belotti, the captain, has single handedly kept his side out of the relegation zone at the moment with his 12 goals and 7 assists in the Italian league (29 starts, so far). For the Azzurri, so far, in 32 appearances, he has scored 11 goals and also provided 7 assists.

The Italian’s current contract is going to expire in the summer of next year and as per reports (Torino Granata), he is valued at around £35million.

Last season, Belotti scored 22 goals in all competitions and he has consistently found the net over the years for Torino but I think it is time for him to leave if he wants to win major prizes in his career.

Man Utd need to sign a prolific center forward for next season. Do you think they should splash £35million to sign Andrea Belotti?
