According to an exclusive story covered by The Sun, the Old Trafford outfit are ready to step up chase to sign the Portuguese international from Fulham.
The British news source have revealed that Man Utd will soon make their move (in coming weeks) to lure the Seleccao star.
Palhinha was on our radar last year (Correio da Manha) but in the end, he signed for the Cottagers.
The 27-year-old won multiple titles in Portugal with Sporting Lisbon, including the 2020-21 Liga Nos trophy.
Moreover, since moving to England, he has proved to be a quality defensive midfielder for the London-based side under Marco Silva.
So far, he has helped the team keep 10 clean sheets in all competitions and has also managed to find the net 4 times.
Palhinha has made 20 appearances for the senior national side thus far and was a member of their World Cup squad (3 apps) that reached the quarter finals in Qatar.
As per The Sun, the PL star could cost around £60million. It must be remembered that he joined Fulham for £20million and according to a story covered by The Mirror yesterday, a fee of £40million could be enough to secure his signature.
