According to a repot published by Corriere Fiorentino (news image provided below), Amrabat is ‘destined’ to be sold by the Serie A side.

The Italian news source have mentioned that Man Utd remain ‘favorite’ to secure his signature in the summer transfer window.

It is reported that Brazilian international, Arthur Melo, will replace the African star at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.

CorFiorentino claim the agreement with Juventus has been practically defined: a loan of 2 million euros with an option to make the move permanent for a fee of 20 million euros. The two sides will share his salary i.e. around 5 million euros a season.

Man Utd have made an offer for Amrabat but need a fee of 30 million euros to agree the deal with the Viola (Corriere dello Sport via SW).

The 26-year-old helped Morocco become the first African nation to reach the semi finals of the World Cup last year.

Moreover, he was a key member of the Fiorentina side that reached the final of the UEFA Conference League last season.

In the presence of a solid play breaker like Casemiro, there is no urgent need for Man Utd to sign a defensive midfielder at the moment. What do you think?
