Manchester United must solve the defensive conundrum in the summer if they are to get back in to the Champions League next year.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a number of central defenders and one of them is French youngster, Leny Yoro.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Man Utd are one of the clubs who have held “direct” talks to lure Yoro.
However, the 18-year-old starlet’s preference is to move to Real Madrid. The renowned transfer journalist said:
“Liverpool and PSG, also Manchester United in the last 24-48 hours, in direct contacts, made all parties of the Leny Yoro deal aware of their interest by saying: ‘In case the deal with Real Madrid collapses, we are here, we would like to enter the story for Leny Yoro’.
“Yoro wants the Real Madrid move since October, November, it’s not something new. But it depends on Real Madrid.”
“He wants to go there, no doubt, but in case they don’t complete a deal, PSG Liverpool and also Man United called for Leny Yoro in the last 24 hours and confirmed their genuine interest. So let’s wait and see what happens.”
The teenager’s current deal with Lille will expire in twelve months, still, the Les Dogues are looking to get an enormous fee of £59.2million from his sale this summer (AS).
Man Utd have already tabled a proposal to sign Leny Yoro but the player is adamant and only wants to sign for the Los Blancos.
In all fairness, the 20-time English champions should not waste more time on convincing the French defender if he really wishes to move elsewhere. What do you think?
