RVP To Be Used In £70 Million Midfielder Deal – Report

United are set to renew their interest in former Red midfielder Paul Pogba according to the latest reports. With the season heading towards the final month, the Old Trafford heirarchy are reportedly moving quickly to tie up deals for the next campaign.

The Metro notes: Manchester United are set for talks with Juventus over a deal to sign Paul Pogba, according to reports.

United have been strongly linked with a summer deal for Pogba, with the Frenchman looking likely to leave Juve.

Arsenal and Chelsea are also keen on a deal, but reports say United have requested a meeting ahead of a possible summer transfer.

It’s believed the Red Devils are ready to bid £54million plus Robin van Persie to do business, although a £70million cash deal has not been ruled out.

Pogba also has interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG.

It remains to be seen whether the stories are true but there’s little doubt Pogba’s departure from Old Trafford left a sour taste in the mouth for many Reds who saw the Frenchman as a key part to life after Sir Alex. If Louis Van Gaal could add Pogba to his squad and perhaps a defender then United may already be set to launch a true title challenge next season.
