Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs believes that the arrival of Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan will prove to be a huge boost for the Red Devils.
Manchester United have clearly made a big impact in the summer transfer window so far with the signings of Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku, and if reports are to be believed, the Premier League giants are on the verge of completing another major deal.
Sky Sports have recently revealed that United are close to agreeing a fee of around £44million for Perisic and it does look like the deal coming into fruition is just a matter of time.
The arrival of Perisic will most certainly improve the United attacking lineup and club legend Ryan Giggs is of the opinion that the Croatian international will not only excite the fans but also bring about the best of Marcus Rashford, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial due to the increased level of competition.
Giggs told Sky Sports: “If he comes, then the likes of Marcus Rashford, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial have to step it up. It can be a boost for all the players. It not only excites the fans but also the players, when a new player comes in.”
