Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is said to be ready to offload yet another Louis Van Gaal signing once the January transfer window opens. According to British media outlet the Times, the former Chelsea manager will authorize the sale of Matteo Darmian in January.
According to the report by Times, Mourinho sees Timothy Fosu-Mensah as a potential first choice right back and have no need for the Italian who has been linked with a move to Inter Milan.
Darmian who signed for Manchester United from Torino two summers ago had a good start to his career with the club unfortunately his form and confidence dropped after he was axed from the first team by the then Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal. He has played a total of 39 times for Manchester United most of which were either in the cup games or he coming on as a sub.
One can understand why Mourinho may want to sell Darmian especially considering we also have Fosu-Mensah. Although the Dutchman is still a green horn but has all the ingredients to become a first team regular for United. Darmian is simply in my humble opinion a waste of space. His poor performance for us recently is perfectly summed up by the tweets by Manchester United fans below;
Rojo never wins a 50-50. Or even a 60-40 or 70-30 in his favour.

Reports early this month by The Sun ( who themselves are citing Italian media out Leggo as source ) claim Inter Milan have made an offer to Manchester United that will see the Serie A club sign the 26 year old on loan with a view to make the deal permanent later.
The report claim Inter have tabled a £900,000 loan offer and want to have the option to sign him permanently for £12.6million which is just a little short of the £16.2 million Manchester United reportedly paid to Torino to sign him two years ago.
