Manchester United supporters were impressed by the performance of midfielder Paul Pogba during the FA Cup semi-final over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The France international had put in a strong performance in the midweek league triumph over Bournemouth and he followed it up with another excellent showing against Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
United found themselves trailing 1-0 early in the first period but they managed to pull things level with an Alexis Sanchez header which was orchestrated by a brilliant delivery from Pogba.
Following the break, Mourinho’s side were more organised than the opposition and they pressed forward for the winner which eventually came with the efforts of Ander Herrera.
Pogba has now exposed Kante, Dembele and Xhaka.
Y’all better not start comparing your midfielders to him

So Pogba leaving United rumours started against Spurs, and tonight they ended against Spurs. Good Night!

Paul Pogba: take a bow. When Manchester United needed him, he turned up and performed. Sensational. Need more of that Pogba on show.

What a win! Wow. Didn’t think we’d get past them, but the boys played outstanding in that second half. Clutch from Pogba, Alexis and Herrera.

Magnificent from Pogba. Absolutely magnificent. And what a header from Sanchez. He needed that. Herrera, Valencia, Smalling, Jones and Lukaku turn round and walk back to their own half. Mourinho chatting to Young. Focus still the key. #mufc

Pogba has been heavily criticised for being inconsistent with his performances but the Frenchman has now built up a good run of form with contributions in three of his previous four appearances.
Playing in a midfield three alongside Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic, Pogba has found more room to push forward from the left flank and there was a much better understanding between him and Sanchez on Saturday.
Sanchez and Pogba appeared to complicate things by finding themselves in similar positions but the former was allowed to occupy a free role against Spurs which enabled him to find the scoresheet.
