Manchester United offloaded winger, Daniel James, in the summer transfer window and reports in the media suggest that another Old Trafford star wants to leave the club.
According to La Colina De Nervion, Sevilla are seriously looking to hire the services of French international, Anthony Martial, from the Old Trafford outfit.
Transfer: Offer already made – Man Utd could secure signing of £17million a year star who wants PL move
The Spanish news source have mentioned that the Andalusian club moved in with an offer to sign him but it was rejected by the Red Devils. Now, they have prepared another loan offer that would include an option to make the move permanent in the summer.
Man Utd are not against transferring the player this month and will only do so if the offer is right. It is stated that the 20-time English champions are aware that Martial is prepared to secure an exit from the club.
The Les Bleus attacker was a key member of the Man Utd squad under the management of former boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and back in 2019, he signed a lucrative deal worth £250,000 a week (Sky Sports News).
In the current campaign, the former AS Monaco player has so far made 7 appearances in the Premier League, only 2 starts. On the other hand, he has not featured for the side under interim coach, Ralf Rangnick.
Martial has earned 30 caps thus far and he knows that to play for the national team at this year’s World Cup, he needs regular first team football at club level. In your view, should Man Utd offload him in the January transfer window?
We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming days.
