Manchester United supporters were far from delighted with the showing of Paul Pogba during Sunday’s shock 1-0 Premier League defeat to West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford.
The France international was the pick of the players from the Manchester derby earlier this month, where he bagged a sublime brace, but he struggled to replicate his performance versus the Baggies.
During the course of the game, Pogba struggled to find a genuine outlet towards goal, and he was put out his misery after he was substituted prior to the hour mark.
Don’t say it much about Pogba and even when people have said “Pogba was shit” in some games, i thought he wasn’t all that bad. But today Paul Pogba has been poor. Sloppy on the ball, losing possession and nothing’s been working for him really. Not his day it’s looking

Pogba put out of his misery. Atrocious performance. Played well for 30 minutes last week but doesn’t look comfortable at all in the side/position. Ongoing problem for Mou and #MUFC.

Inspiring a derby day comeback away from home and then stinking up the gaff against dead bottom West Brom is the perfect way to describe Pogba’s United career so far

I love the fact that Jose is brave enough to take Pogba off when not playing well and strong enough to stand his ground against fans yapping on about Martial all the time. Let the guy do his job.

Pogba’s substitution witnessed some of the fans suggesting that Mourinho was cautious about the Frenchman receiving a second yellow card which would have led to a two-game suspension.
However, the move was made to add more creativity in the attack front, and Ander Herrera was taken off at half-time for a similar reason, though the Spaniard had a reasonable game by his standards.
Pogba’s consistency has been a cause of concern this term, and the fans will hope that the midfielder can come up with a better performance in the midweek league game at Bournemouth.
