Manchester United take on bottom club Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. Jose Mourinho already has doubts over the fitness of a couple of first-team players, and he could potentially rotate his side for the final outing before the international break.
Formation: 3-4-2-1Lineup:
Lineup:
David de Gea has kept five clean sheets in six Premier League games this term. The Spaniard will be relishing the prospect of extending this streak against a goal-shy Crystal Palace. Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof and Chris Smalling started in a three-man defence in the Champions League game against CSKA Moscow, and Mourinho could stick with the same personnel with Phil Jones struggling with a minor ankle problem.
Antonio Valencia is a certainty to start at right wing-back following his rest in the midweek European game. Ashley Young has occupied the left-back spot in recent league games, but he could be offered a breather with Daley Blind at left wing-back.
Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic could pick themselves in the central midfield role with Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick out while Marouane Fellaini is a doubt with his fitness.
The trio of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku bamboozled the CSKA backline in the 4-1 triumph in midweek. Jose Mourinho has a tough choice to make between Martial and Marcus Rashford, but the former could get the nod following his eye-catching European display, which included one goal and two assists.
Romelu Lukaku scored his ninth and tenth goals of the campaign on Wednesday night, and he will be looking to continue his excellent form up front, when United take on a Palace side, who are yet to find the scoresheet this season.
