Real Madrid are looking to sell Toni Kroos to raise money for the signature of Neymar and Manchester United have been tipped as the favourites to land the German star – according to reports from the Manchester Evening News.
Kroos has arguably been among the best midfielders in the game in recent years and his contribution has proven crucial in helping Real Madrid claim consecutive UEFA Champions League titles over the past two seasons.
Despite his impressive performances though, it looks like Kroos might just go on to join Manchester United in the near future as it has been reported by the Manchester Evening News that Real Madrid are looking to get rid of the 28-year-old.
It is believed that the alleged decision to sell Kroos is a part of a project to raise funds for Brazilian sensation Neymar, who is believed to be disillusioned with life at PSG.
This move to sell €300million player by Madrid is mainly believed to be because of the fact that the German international is into his prime at the moment and will command a very high fee from interested clubs, making him a perfect asset to sell.
Also considering United’s need for reinforcement in midfield and the availability of a player of Kroos’ quality, it is very likely that the Red Devils will do all they can in order to get the move through.
