Manchester United have intensified pressure to sign Ronald Araujo from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
As per today’s version of Sport (news image provided below), in the final days of June, Barca are ready to resolve the future of the South American center half.

The Catalan media outlet claim the Blaugrana want the defender to accept the renewal offer made to him a few months back.
However, it seems difficult that an agreement will be reached even though the 25-year-old star has always wanted to stay.
To take advantage of the situation, in the last few hours, Man Utd have put a lot of pressure to sign Araujo.
They are trying to convince the player with a salary that would practically ‘double’ what he can earn at the Camp Nou.
Araujo’s current deal will expire in 2026 and if he does not renew, Barca will be forced to sell him this summer and Man Utd will go ‘all out’ to get his signing done.
The Uruguayan international has won every major domestic prize with Barcelona and is currently at the Copa America.
He featured for 45 minutes in the opening group game against Panama and was subbed at half time due to dehydration. We can expect him in action tomorrow versus Bolivia.
As per Sport, in case the 17-capped international refuses to agree a new deal, Barca will put him on the market for a price of over 75 million euros (£63.5million).
Man Utd are convinced Araujo is a ‘safe investment’ to reinforce the defense. In your view, should they offer £63.5million to sign him?
