According to reports from Don Balon, Antoine Griezmann is aware of the fact that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is keen on acquiring his services.
Manchester United have enjoyed a stunning start to their campaign so far and one of the main reasons behind the Red Devils’ fine performances is due to the contribution of their attacking players.
The likes of Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have all impressed over the initial stages of the campaign and the contribution of the quartet could prove to be crucial if United are to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
Despite boasting such a potent attacking lineup though, United manager Jose Mourinho is still intent on strengthening his options in the final third and reports have widely claimed that the Portuguese boss has set his sights on acquiring the services of Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann next summer.
Now in an update to the story, the Daily Express have gone on to claim that Griezmann is well aware of Mourinho’s interest in signing him and the French international is currently pondering a move to Old Trafford.
As Atletico have recently signed Diego Costa from Chelsea, they may be more open to allowing Griezmann to leave but one can be sure that United will have to splash huge sums of money in order to sign the talented 26-year-old.
