Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale is looking for an exit from Santiago Bernabeu to join Premier League giants Manchester United in hopes of earning more first team opportunities, according to the Daily Star.
Welsh superstar Gareth Bale has fallen down the pecking order at Real Madrid during the current La Liga campaign, with manager Zinedine Zidane preferring the likes of Lucas Vazquez and Isco ahead of the 28-year-old.
The lack of first team football has understandably left Bale very unhappy with his current role at Madrid and as a result, it is believed that the pacey winger is now looking for a move away from the European and Spanish Champions.
According to the Daily Star, Bale wants to leave the Spanish capital in order to make return back to the Premier League and Manchester United is allegedly his favoured destination.
This news of Bale’s availability will surely have caught the attention of Manchester United once again and the Red Devils will surely be planning to pursue the Wales international in the upcoming transfer windows.
Although Manchester United were rejected earlier this season by Bale, it seems very unlikely that the 28-year-old will snub the Red Devils again and the huge transfer taking place soon now seems well within the realms of possibility.
According to The Guardian, Bale’s current deal with Real Madrid will expire in 2022 and he earns around £350,000-a-week after tax.
