Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has demanded the club to secure the signing of Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.
According to The Mail (news image provided below), the Dutch manager has made it clear to the Red Devils board that he wants a new star striker and the priority target is the Tottenham Hotspur forward.

Speaking about the current strike-force dilemma, Ten Hag said:
“Rashford can also play very good as a No9 and Anthony Martial is a great No9. We have players who can play in that role but definitely we need some offensive players who are really impact players, quality players, who improve the frontline.”
It must be remembered that no Manchester United player has scored 20+ goals in a single Premier League season for almost a decade.
Robin van Persie netted 26 times in the title-winning 2012-13 season. Since then, we have had strikers like Ibrahimovic, Falcao, Lukaku, Martial, etc but no one has managed to achieve the above mentioned feat.
Harry Kane has won three PL Golden Boots and was the top scorer at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The record England goalscorer has already scored 20+ league goals for Spurs this season.
However, the £200,000 a week star has never won a club trophy in his career and must move away from the north London side in the next transfer window.
Man Utd are a top striker signing away from seriously challenging for the Premier League title. They have not signed a player from Spurs since 2008 and Daniel Levy would never like his prized asset to move to Old Trafford.
