Ten Hag ready to agree £47m asking fee to close signing by Friday – Journalist

Manchester United are working on the signing of Andre Onana and Erik Ten Hag wants the move closed by Friday.

A few days ago, Fabrizio Romano revealed that Inter Milan are asking for a fee of 55 million euros (£47m), to sell the Cameroonian goalie.

Last night, Alfredo Pedulla revealed Ten Hag has asked the Red Devils to complete the deal by Friday.

In such a scenario, the Italian journalist has stated that a new offer of £47m plus bonuses could arrive to finally get the deal done.

Immediately after the sale of Onana to Man Utd, the Nerazzurri will move to close double signing of shot stoppers, Trubin and Sommer.

Ten Hag knows all about the characteristics of the 27-year-old, who excelled under his management at Ajax.

Onana won three Eredivisie, two Dutch Cups and one Dutch Super Cup during his time in the Netherlands.

He was a key member of the squad that reached the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League in 2019.

More importantly, he proved to be a hit in his debut season in Italy. The 34-capped international won both the domestic cup titles and was immense in the European Cup as Inter reached the final.

The fans cannot wait for him to wear the famous red shirt at Old Trafford.
