Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has hailed Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini for his commitment on the pitch.
Marouane Fellaini has struggled to win over a section of the Manchester United faithful since his arrival to Old Trafford back in the summer of 2013 but nonetheless, it has to be said that he has been rated highly by all of the managers he has played under at the club.
Jose Mourinho, in particular, seems to be a very big fan of Fellaini’s abilities and the Belgian international is certainly playing with a lot more confidence over the last 18 months under the tutelage of the Portuguese tactician.
Fellaini’s improved performances have impressed Arsenal legend Thierry Henry as well and the Frenchman has gone on to praise the 29-year-old by stating that despite his technical limitations, the towering star always gives it his all on the pitch.
Speaking on Sky Sports on Sunday, Henry said, “What you have with Marouane Fellaini is that he will give you his best every single time. He’s an honest player. He’s not going to be Paul Scholes, we know that. [But] he gives 100 per cent and he does ever so well.”
